Year 4 - Mother Tongue Day

Year 4 have had a wonderful day celebrating and learning about different languages and cultures. We started the day with a wonderful international breakfast where the children had the opportunity to taste foods from different countries. We enjoyed pizza, samosas, welsh cakes and many more delicious delicases. Across the year group we conducted our own research into different countries which the children presented to the class. We also learnt sign language, a tradional Gujrati folk dance and explored our own cultural identity.
